Welcome
Nightshade Arabians has been a project of mine
for some years now, selecting stock, trying to
find a location and my feet in the Arabian world.
I still haven't found my dream farm yet, or my
feet for that matter, but I do have great horses.
After a short stint in the USMC I lucked into my
herd stallion JT Sadik Sireff, pictured at left.
I have always loved Arabians and after doing
some research I decided to focus some of my
attention on Egyptian lines. In my search for the
perfect stallion I met Joe Berry and he
introduced me to this wonderful horse that I am
proud to call my own.
When I got Sadik I started taking my
crash course in Egytpian lines having
only owned mainly Polish/Crabbet lines.
Founded in 2006 the name Nightshade
comes from a cat I owned who was a
very loving individual, I chose to name
my horse operation after him long
before I knew what it would come to
mean to me. Nightshade was poisoned
while I was in my barracks on the other
side of the country.
The wonderful thing about horses is
they are the best therapists you can
find however and forging a head with
Nightshade Arabians is one of the best
things I have ever done.
Now, with the help and support of my other half Mike, above with NA Sabiha
Nada, I am working on realizing my lifelong dream of having my horses be my day
job.
